Iced in a Bed of Flowers | Road Trip

 

Throughout the year, I have learnt how to blend different shades of colours together and create various textures so that my drawings would look more realistic. I have also learnt to create a character, with different characteristics that would represent my unique thoughts and emotions.

 

My favourite work is the work titled “Iced in a Bed of Flowers”. I liked that I was able to apply the colour blending techniques taught to us well in the artwork. The overlapping of colours added an interesting effect to the drawing.

 

I aspire to be a stylist in the future as I enjoy helping people dress stylishly. A stylist needs to have a good understanding of colour and have good aesthetic sense. Learning art will definitely equip me with those skills.
