Red Panda | Cats | A Little Cottage in the Woods

 

Of all the different media that I have tried, one of my biggest struggles was blending colours in a realistic way.

 

My favourite work is the work titled ‘Red Panda’. The inspiration for the work came from a visit with my family to the River Safari. I had a memorable visit and I wanted to paint a portrait of the famous panda from the safari. It was a challenging piece as I had to be precise and meticulous in rendering the fine details.

 

I feel extremely proud that I was able to finish all the paintings. With each completed artwork, I feel a great sense of accomplishment.

 

In the future, I hope to pursue a career in interior design. I think that my newfound aesthetic sense and understanding of colour will help me very much in this area.
