Gender? | Northern Bear | Mount Bromo

 

Out of all the different media that we have tried, I felt that charcoal was the most difficult to control as it can get quite messy. In painting, I learnt how different brush strokes and colours can add excitement to an artwork. I also learnt how to depict anatomies better.

 

My favourite works are “Northern Bear” and “Mount Bromo” as both works portray parts of the world which I hope to visit again someday. The “Northern Bear” symbolises Canada, while “Mt. Bromo” was inspired by a volcano in Surabaya, Indonesia. It is a volcano that has not erupted for years.

 

My aspiration is to be an animator or a visual effects artist. I enjoy the details that are created in the animated films of Disney, Pixar and Dreamworks. Even though they can go unnoticed, the details are what makes those films so believable.
