Army Ant | What is Frog?

 

I enjoy illustration as I feel a great sense of accomplishment every time I complete an illustration artwork. I like to use colour pencils in my work as I am able to achieve a greater sense of realism in my artworks with them. By incorporating watercolour paint in the artwork, I was able to make the image more outstanding.

 

My favourite work is ‘What is Frog?’. The inspiration for the work came as I was watching Animal Planet one day. I saw was a frog, which was able to leap through air at great speeds. I was amazed and immediately decided to create a painting about it.

 

I aspire to be a visual effects artist in the future. A visual effects artist creates, design and builds props and sets for films. They need to be excellent at painting in order to create powerful and convincing effects. I would love to be able to be a visual effects artist for horror films, as I enjoy that particular genre of films much more than others.
