Elephants in Nature | Dragon and the Castle

The most interesting medium for me was colour pencils. I learnt that I could use colour pencils to create different textures in my drawings. Further, as the colour pencils I used were water-soluble, I was able to create very interesting effects in my drawings by adding water.

My favourite work is “Elephants in Nature”. I was able to apply the painting techniques taught to us in the painting. Although the technique of underpainting was new to me, it was through the patience of Mr. Khairul, that I was able to complete the painting to the quality that I desired.

I aspire to be an illustrator in the future as I would like to create illustrations for storybooks. I believe that illustrations are important as they help readers understand the story better.
