The Coronation | The Modern Tortoise

 

What I have enjoyed most from my art experience is learning to convey my thoughts and emotions through the use of visual symbols. As I refined my techniques, I was able to convey my thoughts more accurately. I learnt that by adding details and colour, we can make an artwork more exciting and interesting for others.

 

My favourite work is “The Coronation” as I had invested the most effort into it. It required a lot of perseverance on my part in ensuring that each line was neat and precise. I also liked the vibrant colours which allowed certain elements in the artwork to stand out. By overlapping certain colours, I was also able to create an interesting layered effect to the artwork.

 

I love how art allows me to express my emotions and thoughts on a piece of paper or canvas. I think this is important as sometimes there are certain things that simply cannot be expressed through words.
