An Animal Portrait

Through a workshop with local painter/artist Khairullah Rahim, the Painting Club members learnt to juxtapose different objects to create wacky portraits, with animals as the central subject matter. They learnt the skill of ‘underpainting’, where multiple layers of paint are applied onto the canvas to make it to look more realistic. The students also learnt that colours may be used to convey different personalities and moods.
