Shiba's Day Out | Entering the Iceland | The Mangled Doll

The good thing about being able to try so many different media is that I really began to understand them individually better. Watercolour pencils can create unpredictable effects when combined with water. Acrylic paint on the other hand is a fun medium to use but creating realistic tones with acrylic paint can be quite challenging.

I am someone who likes to create digital art. However, by being exposed to non-digital art, I have learnt to become more sensitive and meticulous in my paintings. I realise that I have to exercise greater care as unlike in digital art, you cannot undo the mistakes as easily.

My favourite work is ‘Shiba’s Day Out’ as I felt a great sense of accomplishment having completed a full acrylic painting. I learnt a lot about colour as well and the colour scheme used provides a strong contrast to the different elements in the work.

My dream to be an animator as I like to draw cartoons and create characters.
